MARK.S “DOMENICO PANTS” (Black)
FELTED FABRIC BLACK〈Felted〉
The “DOMENICO PANTS” are a staple item that MARK.S continues to feature in their collections.
Based on a universal slacks design, the designer has carefully balanced the details to achieve a unique silhouette. These trousers are easy to incorporate into various stylings, combining a refined appearance with ease of movement.
The outer fabric uses wool yarn made primarily from Austrian Winners wool. Winners wool possesses both the softness of lamb's wool and the firm tension and elasticity characteristic of adult sheep's wool.
The fabric is dyed after undergoing a felting process. Dyeing after felting compresses the fabric more intensely, resulting in a dense texture and a deep, rich black color.
The lining is made from a rayon and cotton blend, ensuring a smooth feel against the skin and comfortable wear.
It can be worn as a set-up with the “ROCHUT JACKET” made from the same fabric. Both pieces are easy to coordinate individually, making them versatile for everything from casual to dressy styles.
This item uses highly rare fabric with limited production quantities.
We have received only one piece each for the top and bottom.
All MARK.S products are sewn in Japan. While some items may incorporate overseas vintage, deadstock, or hand-woven fabrics, the sewing, which is the foundation of the craftsmanship, is consistently carried out in Japan.

MARK.S is a brand that values receiving clothing through pure "sensation" rather than understanding it through words or logic.
In today's world, overflowing with information and explanations, clothing is sometimes described by words long before it is actually touched. However, for things that truly captivate the heart, there is no need for reasons or criteria for evaluation.
Antique fabrics, boro (distressed textiles), and vintage wear that has been long cherished possess a beauty that words alone cannot convey. The craftsmanship of MARK.S began with the pursuit of this highly personal and intimate feeling that emerges between such clothing and the wearer.
The designer personally collects hand-woven and hand-spun fabrics, antique items that remained unused, and deadstock fabrics from all over the world. Focusing on natural materials, they produce garments in small quantities within Japan, bringing out the expression and history inherent in each material.
For mud-dyeing, a technique passed down from ancient times on Amami Oshima, they use soil rich in mud, tree bark, and iron to express colors with depth and fluctuation that can only be born from the nature of that land. Depending on the fabric, they are woven slowly over time using vintage looms close to hand-weaving machines.
What exists here is a set of values different from mass production that prioritizes efficiency. It is about creating clothes that do not waste materials, are not swayed by the times, and remain to be worn into the future while changing alongside the person who wears them. Each MARK.S garment is imprinted with the designer's aesthetic sense and the traces of time that have accumulated.
The designer's name and background are not made public. This is based on the philosophy of wanting people to first see, touch, and feel the product itself, before any such information.
The brand name "MARK" signifies a sign, record, trace, or symbol. The "S" adds the meanings of Special and Supreme.
"The designer’s record/archive."
The name MARK.S carries the sentiment of leaving behind one's aesthetic sense as a trace within clothing.
