These are Gurank's cotton hemp shorts.
They are made with a tough fabric that reproduces the thick yarn used in 1960s workwear.
The 12-ounce original oxford fabric combines thick cotton yarn and hemp.
The hemp is impregnated with wax before weaving to allow for easy formation of slubs.
The material has a very nice texture, achieved through product sulfur dyeing and bio-washing.

Additionally, custom-made iron tack buttons are used. Since the iron material is unpainted, scratches from use will gradually cause rust, and as the fabric fades, it will develop a more rugged and unique appearance.
