Detail :

An A-2 type leather flight jacket from L.L.Bean, circa the 1980s.
There are various versions of this jacket, but this one is Thinsulate-free, with soft leather and a lighter weight compared to others of its kind.

While based on the U.S. military "A-2" flight jacket, it features the practicality and comfort for everyday wear that is characteristic of L.L.Bean.
The front is equipped with substantial flap pockets. Classic flight jacket details can be seen throughout, including the neck strap, cuffs, and ribbed hem.

The deep, dark brown leather is appealing for its subtle sheen and rich texture. The natural creases and patina developed through wear enhance the unique atmosphere of this vintage piece.

It comes in a rare XL-TALL size.
Since this model typically has a short length, the TALL version offers an exceptionally good balance.

In addition to a generous width in the body and shoulders, it features a longer length than a standard XL. It retains the ruggedness unique to flight jackets while offering a silhouette that is easy to incorporate into contemporary styling.
It pairs well with a wide range of bottoms, from wide slacks to denim, allowing you to enjoy the presence of the leather without being over-dressed.

The fact that it is Made in USA is another great point.
This is a highly recommended vintage leather jacket that we hope you will enjoy for a long time.
